Whip it Wednesday!

This is Matt Nimmo! My friend and bartender colleague at Twinpigs. He and I want to create a nice Wednesday hang at the bar and this is how he describes the essence of what we’re doing 😀

”Hola Berliners… This coming Wednesday the lovely Tina Shine and I will be running the first of hopefully many Wednesday evenings at Twinpigs. The evening will be focussed on great drinks, great service, great tunes and great mates across the bar. We have invited our friends Göran and Chengto spin some records keeping the vibe sexy and low key and we have written a little special cocktail for the evening. We would love for you to come down, say hey and have a drink with us as we start this series together.

Our/Berlin at König Galerie

Fredagen den 3e juni jobbade jag åter igen för Our/Berlin Vodka. Denna gång på König Galerie, St Agnes för en pre-exibition av Jorinde Voigts’ RADICAL RELAXATION


On Friday the 3rd of June I worked once again with Our/Berlin Vodka. This time at König Galerie, St Agnes where I bartended at the pre-exhibition of Joined Voigts’ RADICAL RELAXATION

Johan Evers – Ling Ling Bar Stockholm, founder at Hard Waters –  är Sveriges bästa bartender 2016 och åker till Miami för att tävla i the World Class finals!


Johan Evers – Ling Ling Bar Stockholm, founder at Hard Waters –  is Swedens’ best bartender 2016 and will compete in Miami for the World Class finals.


In this challenge you must prepare one “tray- service” cocktail (hot or cold) that appeals to all of the senses. Your cocktail must be prepared on a tray as if it were to be taken to a guest at a table in your Castle.

Your ‘tray’ can be anything, it could also be a box, a basket, a hollowed out book, a gramophone a suitcase, whatever you want to use.

You are allowed to bring any kind of props (smoking guns, atomizers, colour, texture, images, video, music, etc.) to help you create the atmosphere for your cocktail and any tools and glassware to really bring the service of your drink to life.

The scoring will also reflect how well you engage with each sensory element of sound, smell, touch, sight and taste.

30ml Coffee & Violette macerated sweet vermouth
12,5ml Cherry Heering
2 dash Peychauds bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters

Erdbeersaison :D

God morgon! Vaknade för ett litet tag sen (jobbade sent igår som vanligt) och hittade lite left over jordgubbar i kylen. Skakade upp en superfräsch morgon-cocktail på dem och lite apelsin och citron juice. Älskar den här tiden på året när jordjobbar är i säsong. Det är en av världens bästa smaker for realz yo!


50 ml fresh orange juice
40 ml fresh lemon/lime juice
15 ml sugar syrup
✴︎ muddle like 4 strawberries and two basil leafs in the shaker
✴︎ hard shake on ice
✴︎ double strain over any type of glass really
✴︎ top with cold soda water
✴︎ down it !

Good morning!! 😀 I woke up not long ago (worked late last night as usual) and found a few left over strawberries in the fridge so I shook up a super fresh morning cocktail on them and some orange and lemon juice. The recipe’s above. Love this time a year when strawberries are in season. It’s one of the best flavours in the world for realz yo.
